Pink, Pastel, Pretty – More Valentines Day Jewelry Ideas

I’m not always a huge fan of pink.  I guess I always want to be a bit “edgier” or “tougher” or something.  (as if!) However, I always make an exception for subtle, muted ballet pink.  It’s almost an earthy, natural tone.  It’s flattering to most skin colors and sublimely elegant.  Here’s two of my favorite pieces in more neutral pink:

Summer Shows Sneak Peak – Jewelry from Conception to Finish

I wanted to give a sneak peek of some of the work I will be premiering at my art shows the next two weeks.  Here’s a few examples of the *extremely* rough sketches to some final finished products.

The necklaces are riveted sterling silver and goldfill, and all feature handsawn designs.  I drew on some moroccan and japanese design influences when sketching to continue the modern multicultural look of my jewelry. The geometric necklaces fit right in with this summers geometric trends, but their style and quality materials will have lasting value.

New pieces currently in progress.  I’m thrilled with how they’re turning out.  I won’t be listing them online just yet, but will preview them at the St. John Festival of the Arts and Cain Park instead.
