Happy New Year 2015!
You’ve probably noticed that I’ve been revamping the shop and there is now a special focus on geometric jewelry and personalized jewelry. Throughout this year get ready for lots of new minimalist styles with an emphasis on geometric and linear forms, as well as an expansion of my popular line of personalized accessories.
Here’s a few new pieces that recently made their way into the shop that are available for purchase:
Silver Curved Slide Tube Necklace
I’ve recently revamped the look and style of my Miscellanea collection, which is now my geometric miscellanea line. In addition to my personalized jewelry, look for lots more geometric styles to be added. To make room though, a lot of the brightly colored pieces will be going away (so grab them now at lower prices) To celebrate, I’m offering one of my best selling pieces, my silver double triangle necklace at a great price for a limited time.
Plus you have a chance to win this necklace over at my main Valerie Tyler Designs blog, so go check out all the details!
There are some new art deco style earrings in the Miscellanea collection by Valerie Tyler. They’re lightweight and comfortable, yet have artistic detailing and sleek minimalist forms. An extra bonus is that the earrings are all only a very affordable $14 each!

I’m not always a huge fan of pink. I guess I always want to be a bit “edgier” or “tougher” or something. (as if!) However, I always make an exception for subtle, muted ballet pink. It’s almost an earthy, natural tone. It’s flattering to most skin colors and sublimely elegant. Here’s two of my favorite pieces in more neutral pink:
Gemstone Statement Necklace – Raw Pink Quartz
It’s elegant, natural and a versatile long length!

I wanted to give a sneak peek of some of the work I will be premiering at my art shows the next two weeks. Here’s a few examples of the *extremely* rough sketches to some final finished products.
The necklaces are riveted sterling silver and goldfill, and all feature handsawn designs. I drew on some moroccan and japanese design influences when sketching to continue the modern multicultural look of my jewelry. The geometric necklaces fit right in with this summers geometric trends, but their style and quality materials will have lasting value.
